Read MoreAug 09, 2009 I don't think you need a batwing. My mower was about half the price of a batwing and I'm very happy. I used to own a batwing and I don't miss it one bit. I pulled it with 65 hp and it was way too little hp. There's lots more weight and lots more moving parts that can go wrong on a batwing.
